Privacy Policy

Saddle Style Co. uses a private, internal software application to help manage its own social media presence. The application is operated only for Saddle Style Co. It is not a public consumer service and is not offered to other businesses or individuals.

Information accessed

When Saddle Style Co. connects one of its own social media accounts, the application may access information that the applicable platform makes available through its official API and that the account owner authorizes. Depending on the connected platform, this may include:

• Business or professional account identifiers, usernames, display names, and profile information.
• Boards, Pins, posts, media, and related content belonging to Saddle Style Co.
• Organic content analytics, such as impressions, saves, outbound clicks, Pin clicks, video views, and engagement information when the platform supplies those metrics.
• OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, granted permissions, and token-expiration information needed to maintain the authorized connection.
• Content drafts, approved media references, campaign identifiers, and scheduling metadata prepared internally by Saddle Style Co.

For Pinterest, the current application use is limited to reading Saddle Style Co.'s own business profile, boards, Pins, Pin metadata, and available organic analytics, and preparing content and scheduling metadata locally.

The application is not designed to collect data from third-party users or operate as a public consumer application. It does not request advertising permissions or access advertising accounts.

How information is used

Saddle Style Co. uses the information described above to:

• Verify that the application is connected to the intended Saddle Style Co. account.
• Review the company's existing social content and account organization.
• Measure the organic performance of the company's content.
• Prepare internal content drafts and scheduling plans.
• Connect observed performance to internal campaign and content records.
• Maintain and secure authorized platform connections.

The current application does not publish social content, engage with social media users, read or write advertising data, create advertisements, or spend marketing funds.

Data sharing

Saddle Style Co. does not share social account data with unrelated third parties. Information may be transmitted to the relevant social platform when necessary to authenticate through that platform's official API or request authorized account data. Information may also be processed by service providers chosen by Saddle Style Co. when technically necessary to operate or host the application or this policy, subject to those providers' own terms and privacy practices.

Saddle Style Co. may disclose information if required by law or necessary to protect the security and integrity of its accounts and systems.

Data sale

Saddle Style Co. does not sell, rent, broker, or exchange social account data or OAuth credentials.

Data storage and security

OAuth tokens and platform credentials are stored locally in owner-only secret files with restricted permissions. They are not intentionally stored in the public website, public logs, git repositories, or the company's Obsidian knowledge base.

Non-secret account metadata, content planning information, and organic performance records may be stored in Saddle Style Co.'s internal systems. Saddle Style Co. uses access restrictions and reasonable technical safeguards appropriate to this small internal application. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

This privacy-policy page uses no tracking scripts, analytics scripts, advertising technology, external fonts, or cookies.

Data retention

Saddle Style Co. retains OAuth credentials only while they are needed to maintain an authorized connection. Credentials may be replaced when refreshed and deleted when access is revoked or the connection is no longer needed.

Non-secret account, content, analytics, and operational records may be retained for as long as they remain useful for internal business records, security, troubleshooting, or content-performance analysis. Copies in routine local backups may remain until those backups are replaced or deleted.

Revoking access

The owner of a connected Saddle Style Co. account can revoke the application's access through the applicable platform's account or application settings. Revocation prevents future authorized API access, although information already retained in internal records may remain as described in the Data retention section.

Third-party platforms and APIs

The application may connect to Pinterest, Meta services such as Facebook and Instagram, and, in the future, TikTok. Those services operate independently and process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Saddle Style Co.'s use of their APIs is also subject to the permissions and restrictions they provide.

This policy describes Saddle Style Co.'s internal application. It does not control the privacy practices of Pinterest, Meta, TikTok, or another third-party platform.

Children

The application is an internal business tool. It is not directed to children and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

Saddle Style Co. may update this policy when its internal application, platform connections, or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
